Sports
Sports are very important at Serare. Each class has Physical Education and Games lessons each week. Individual and team games are encouraged. Students have the opportunity to learn and improve in the skill for games like basketball, soccer, softball, volleyball, swimming amongst others.
School Excursions
|
Learning is emphasised through the experience of field trips for each class. Organisations that our students visit during their learning at Serare include the Nairobi Animal Orphanage, Meteorological Department, various electricity power plants, The National Museum of Kenya, Mamba village, various manufacturing factories like Brookside Dairies amongst others. These trips give students the opportunity to gain first hand knowledge of what they learn in the classroom.

Music & Art/Craft
|
To develop and encourage music and art talents amongst our students each class has the said lessons. Std. 1 to 3 students have compulsory recorder and singing lessons. The piano and guitar lessons are also available for students interested in learning to play the instrument.
Art and Craft is taken by all students in Std. 1 to 8 despite it not being an examinable subject. This ensures that students can express themselves in more than the sports and academic forum.
Art and Craft is offered as a club in high school. Currently it is not offered as an examined subject in Form 4. This ensures that students can express themselves in more than the sports and academic forum.
